FAQ
What do the others hear?
They hear the translation of what you say, read by LecSync in an AI voice. Your own voice isn't sent to the meeting by default, but you can choose to send it too.
Which meeting apps are supported?
Any meeting app that lets you choose a microphone, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex and Tencent Meeting.
How much delay is there?
About one sentence. LecSync waits until a sentence is mostly finished so the translation is accurate, then usually starts speaking within a few seconds. A short pause after each sentence helps others follow.
Do I need headphones?
We recommend them. In Online meeting mode nothing plays on your computer, but if other participants' voices come out of your speakers, your mic may pick them up and translate them as if you said them.
Which languages can it speak?
Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Russian, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian. You can speak in many more: LecSync transcribes and translates over 60 languages.
